Witchcraft and punk wizardry were all anyone
could talk about this fall season, so fishnet tights were bound to
make a resounding comeback too. And sure enough,
they've been flooding our social media feeds, with the Kardashians taking the trend to new
heights as a corset of sorts and young style stars bringing fishnet to the streets.
As we predicted, the future of fashion is fishnet. Once owned by the punk, pinup, grunge and goth crowds, the diamond-patterned material has reentered the fashion zeitgeist by way of the Fall runways. The eye-grabbing legwear quickly caught on with the fashion set, namely Lourdes Leon (whose mom is a noted fishnet advocate) and Sarah Snyder.

If you’re going to venture into the fishnet trend, you’ll want to make sure not to overpower the rest of your outfit. By choosing garments with simple, solid fabrics (e.g Pure Cut Dress or Fine Merino Cardigan) you’re ensuring that the pattern of the fishnet tights will be able to stand out. Heidi Klum in INTERVIEW.de is a great example to follow.
Or pair your Twenties Tights with a simple bodysuit, such as Jamaika Body or Viskose Body. Spotted in VOGUE Germany May 2017 Issue.
Fishnet adds edge to any outfit, whether in the form of sock, tights, shirts, or even dresses. That’s right — not only is fishnet in the midst of a serious comeback, it’s taking on new, innovative forms. Don’t be daunted — the rebellious pattern (in all its iterations) is surprisingly easy to pull off. The more hesitant among us might start by pairing denim minis with fishnet tights. As with any trend, you decide how far down the rabbit hole you go.

Catch of the Day: Our Kaylee Tights are our widest net yet. Try them if you dare…
Embraced All Around
Combine your Twenties Tights with an attractive, multi-talented item: This soft, flowing dress features overcut shoulders, cropped sleeves and a subtle V-neckline that can also be worn at the back to create a casual look. Narrows subtly at the hips to flatter the figure. The open selvage highlights the minimalist look.
The wide, softly falling skirt swings with every step thanks to the smooth viscose material. The asymmetric hem makes this item trendy and stylish. The feminine shirt features an interplay of net and opaque sections. The round neckline has a finely worked finish and the sleeves are a classic cropped length.
Punk, goth, pin-up, grunge, roller derby and rock 'n roll — there's one crucial sartorial piece of all of these subcultures making its way under layers and onto legs right now.
