Our masks for your personnel use provide full coverage even against minimal moisture. Their double-layered high-quality breathable fabric ensures easy breathing while aluminum nose-wires are individually adaptable to your face. Highly elastic, extra-thin bands securely keep the masks in place. Completely sanitized, before packaging they have been treated with a special UV-light to kill bacteria, viruses and germs. Keeping an eye on the environment our masks are washable at 60°C.

    We are happy to answer all your questions around our offered masks. Following you find a summary of the most asked questions about the Wolford Care Mask.

    What is the textile composition of the Care Mask?
    Our Care Masks are manufactured in our headquarters in Bregenz and our production facility in Slovenia. They are made of an 91% polyester and 9% elastane spacer fabric This double-layered fabric is highly breathable and allows for easy breathing as well. A highly effective plasma-hydrophobic finishing of the material prevents from any moisture ingress. The surface is completely moisture-repellent. Before packaging the masks are treated with a special UV light that kills bacteria, viruses and germs.

    Are Wolford Care Masks comfortable to wear?
    As with all our products quality and comfort is most important to us. The masks have a flat knitted middle-seam such as superfine edges to guarantee a perfect 3-dimensionl fit following the contouring of the face. Nose-wiring made from aluminum can individually be adapted to perfectly cover the nasal bridge while highly elastic, extra-thin bands securely keep the masks in place.

    Can the Care Masks be reused?
    Of course. Our masks are washable at 60°C and therefore reusable multiple times.

    As textile accessories, our Care Masks are made to support our employees worldwide as well as our consumers during this challenging time. They are not a medical device.

    Washing and reusing our Care Masks
    We suggest all our masks offered to be washed frequently.

    Classic Mask

    The mask is washable at 60°C and therefore reusable but should not be ironed. We suggest washing the mask at 40°C or 60°C before wearing it for the first time, to prevent possible color stains on the skin.

    Silk Masks

    Have to be washed according to the care instructions: hand wash with a soft detergent in cold water. They should not be ironed or bleached. This procedure will not provide a re-sterilization of the mask. To be completely germ free you need to replace the mask regularly with a new model or place it under UV light for a few minutes.

    Please adhere to the care instructions printed on the packaging of our masks. Please refrain from any home treatments (e.g. freezing, baking, microwaving, boiling water, disinfectant spray or using bleach), as all these procedures are not qualified to kill the germs and re-sanitize the masks.

    Care Masks origin
    Our Classic Masks (91% polyester, 9% elastane) were the first to be developed and produced in our facilities in Europe. As we were aware that our Classic Masks could be too heavy for warm temperatures, we looked for lighter solutions, so we decided to produce soft and elegant Silk Masks. The Silks Masks are “Made in China". We have selected the best Chinese mask producer that uses the highest quality silk, in strict adherence to our quality and ethical standards.
